Guidelines for Authors

Materials for publication in the scientific journal are submitted using the Open Journal System, an online submission and peer-review platform. Registration and authorization are available at the time of submission.

Manuscripts are submitted only in electronic form in .doc or .docx format by uploading them through the journal’s website via the Open Journal System.

The corresponding author must provide a cover letter signed by all authors, in which they must explicitly state that the article/manuscript has not been published elsewhere or submitted to other journals, and that the article does not contain any text borrowed from other works without proper citation.

All submitted manuscripts undergo mandatory screening for originality and the use of artificial intelligence (AI). The threshold requirements are as follows: text originality must be at least 85%, and the AI-generated content indicator must not exceed 40%. Authors are granted up to two opportunities to check their manuscript through the StrikePlagiarism system. If, after the second screening, the manuscript still fails to meet the established requirements, the Editorial Board reserves the right to reject the submission.

Upon submission of a manuscript, authors are required to pay a fee of 5,000 (five thousand) KZT for plagiarism screening services. Each subsequent screening is charged separately, and the fees paid are non-refundable. Payments are processed through the Freedom Pay payment system available on the journal’s website.

Information on cases where the use of artificial intelligence is permitted is provided in the document “Ethics of Using Generative Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Publications”.

Articles may be submitted in Kazakh, Russian, or English.

The title of the article, author names, affiliations, abstract, and keywords must be provided in three languages: the state language, Russian, and English.

The font size must be 12. The article title, author names, and IRSTI are typed in size 11. The organization name, corresponding author’s email, tables, figures, and author information are typed in size 10. The font must be Times New Roman, alignment must be justified, line spacing must be single, paragraph indentation must be 1 cm, and page margins must be as follows: top 2 cm, bottom 2 cm, left 3 cm, right 1.5 cm. Hyphenation is not allowed.

Figures, tables, graphs, diagrams, and other illustrations must be placed directly in the text, numbered, and titled, for example: Figure 1 - Title. Each illustration must be followed by a description.

The use of the official manuscript template is strongly recommended. Manuscripts that do not comply with formatting requirements are not accepted for review.

The editorial office accepts only the final electronic version of the manuscript submitted from the author’s personal account on the journal website. Submission from the author’s account confirms that the author or authors are familiar with and agree to the journal’s rules.

Authors of manuscripts approved for publication are required to pay a publication fee.

A PDF copy of the payment receipt must be sent by the author or authors to the editorial office email address.

Author(s) of a manuscript accepted for publication in the journal are required to pay the publication fee. Payment is made through the Freedom Pay payment system available on the journal’s website. The publication fee is 15,000 KZT per author.

For employees of JSC "K. Kulazhanov Kazakh University of Technology and Business", the publication fee is 10,000 KZT per author.

Publication is free of charge for international authors.

 Аннотация: не более 300 слов.

Ключевые слова: 6-8 основных терминов или кратких словосочетаний.

Introduction. The introduction must justify the importance of the research area, describe the theoretical and practical significance of the topic, define the specific problem, propose a solution or formulate a hypothesis, and state the objectives of the study.

Materials and methods. This section must contain a detailed description of materials, equipment, and software, including model, manufacturer, and country, the research procedure, and a full description of the methods used. The description of research materials must include both qualitative and quantitative characteristics. Statistical analysis of the obtained data is mandatory.

Results and discussion. This section presents the results of the study, their analysis and discussion, and conclusions based on the obtained data as well as previously published works, including the authors’ own data. Results must be presented in the form of tables, figures, and other illustrative materials with appropriate discussion.

Description of the experiment

Results

1.

jamming attack

An experiment to simulate a jamming attack was conducted using a powerful transmitter in Omnet++, a platform for modeling network systems. The experiment involved creating a wireless sensor network of 100 nodes with a random topology and a transmission radius of 50 meters. The experiment consisted of three stages: network initialization without attack, introduction of the jamming transmitter, and data collection.

The results showed that the jamming attack significantly reduces communication quality and increases latency. Simulation algorithms were able to detect the attack with 94% accuracy by analyzing signal strength and packet loss rates. The experiment demonstrated the possibility of using this technique in real wireless sensor networks.

Conclusions. The final section includes the relevance of the topic or problem, a brief summary of the work, confirmation of the validity of the author’s statements, and conclusions regarding changes in scientific knowledge in light of the obtained results. The conclusions must be precise and should be used to generalize research results in specific scientific fields while describing prospective opportunities.

Funding. This section specifies the sources of funding, that is, funding provided within the framework of a scientific project (full project title, project number, supporting organization) and/or acknowledgements to all those who contributed to the work. The word “Funding” must be written in bold italics.
