The journal “Mining and Oil & Gas Engineering” is the legal successor of the journal “Vestnik KazUTB” - ISSN 2708–4132 (Print), ISSN 2663-1830 (Online), registered with the Republican State Institution “Committee of Information of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” registration certificate No. KZ69VPY00134102 dated November 14, 2025.

The journal “Mining and Oil & Gas Engineering” is an open-access journal with double-blind peer review.

The founder and publisher of the journal is JSC “Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulyazhanov.”

Thematic focus – scientific research in the fields of mining engineering, oil and gas engineering, geology, geomechanics, geophysics, well technologies, digital twins, decarbonization, industrial safety, environmental protection, drilling, production, and related areas.
